Knee Support Bands

Knee Bands for Runner's knee and Jumper's Knee
What are Knee Support Bands?
Knee Support Bands are knee supports that are used primarily to reduce pressure and tension on the patellar tendon. Patella tendonitis is usually caused by repetitive overuse of the tendon. Knee Support Bands can offer symptomatic relief for acute or chronic pain associated with Patello-Femoral Syndrome and Osgood-Schlatter's Disease. In most cases, jumper's knee, runner's knee and thigh-muscle weakness also respond well when wearing knee support bands. The cause of jumper’s knee is an inflammation or damage to the tendon that attaches the kneecap to the shin bone.

Knee support bands also slightly elevate the kneecap and reduce tension on the tendon linking the kneecap to the shin bone, which in most cases relieve harmful pressure.
