Hinged braces are dynamic braces (they move), in order to provided increased support of knee joints following an injury or after surgery. Most hinged braces are used for people who suffer from medial or lateral instability of the knee as well as mild to moderate anterior cruciate or posterior cruciate instabilities as well as meniscus injuries.
