design incorporating a spring leaf mechanism. No
other brace offers such protection for ACL

The Medial Ski Deflector prevents
the medial (inner) hinge from “hooking up” with the
other brace or knee. This is incorporated into the
hinge itself and cannot be removed. This feature is
only available with the Ski Armor & Armor with
Fource Point Knee Brace.
The Ski Armor with Fource Point should only be
used when two braces are being used at the same
time. Only available in short calf style.

FourcePoint Hinge Technology works to enhance DonJoy's
Four-Points-of-Leverage design by damping knee joint
extension, which improves the mechanical performance of the
brace and reduces shear forces at the knee. Addressing the
"at risk" position, the hinge resistance engages in the last
25 degrees of knee extension.

Technology was developed to further

The patented FourcePoint
hinges are designed to react during
leg extension and offer an increasing
resistance in the last 35° of extension,
in order to reduce extension shock
and increased posterior tibial loads.
